What do I do if my vacuum turns off on its own?
It is possible that the vacuum has overheated. It is equipped with a motor protective thermostat. To reset it, turn the power off and remove the battery. Check for clogs or dirty filters. Clear any clogs and wash filters as is necessary (refer to Instruction Booklet). Wait a minimum of 45 minutes for the vacuum to cool. Then reinsert battery and turn the power on.

If the vacuum still does not start, please contact Customer Care at 1-877-581-7375.

My battery pack seems to have low runtime.
The initial charge on the pack is approximately 30%. Fully charge the pack (3.5 hours minimum/overnight preferred) and assess battery performance.

Note that battery run time is affected by the amount of work you are performing. Vacuuming on high pile carpet while using “ION Boost” will reduce battery run time quicker than vacuuming bare floors.

If you have more than one battery, it is recommended that you use each equally in use and charging.

What if my ION Power Pack feels warm or is indicating that it is too warm to charge?
Your ION Power Pack may feel warm in use as air passes through the vacuum. If it feels uncomfortably warm, stop using the vacuum and allow for the battery to cool. If the battery continues to feel warm, or you see any LED indicators as outlined in your instruction book, contact Customer Service.

The charger is designed to monitor many factors of the battery. After use, batteries can get warm, a condition that is not optimal for charging. In such cases, the charger waits for the battery temperature to decrease to the optimal point before it begins charging.

What should I do if the vacuum's brushrolls don’t turn on?
  1. Make sure the nozzle is flat against the floor and the vacuum is tilted back out of upright lock.
  2. Make sure the power switch is on.
  3. If red light is illuminated on the floor nozzle, check for blockages (refer to your Instruction Booklet).
  4. Turn off the power and remove battery. Then, remove any excess hair that has wrapped around the brushroll. Avoid damaging or cutting the bristles.
  5. Remove any debris from the soft roller and roller housing.
  6. Check that the handheld vacuum and wand connectors are fully engaged and free of debris at connection points.
  7. Replace battery and turn power on.

If the brushrolls are still not turning on, please contact Customer Care at 1-877-581-7375.

What should I do if the brushrolls stop spinning?
First, make sure the vacuum is turned off. Then, turn the vacuum back on and tilt the vacuum back while gently stepping on the floor nozzle. Note that when you lock the vacuum in the upright position, the brushrolls will stop spinning after a few seconds. If the brushrolls are still not spinning, check for blockages in the brushrolls, then repeat the steps above.

If the issue persists, please contact Customer Care at 1-877-581-7375.
